POP LO!!!
Yesterday mark the end of my Basic Military Training (BMT). I've been looking forward to this day ever since my enlistment hahaha. As much as I would like to be very very happy *which I still am*, I also feel kinda sad and scared. I've know amazing and fun ppl in BMT and it would be great if all of us were to go to the same unit but of course I know that is impossible lol...I've also made so many gd friends along the way, ppl of different race and of different nationality. But despite the differences, we all got along well. All the ppl *including sirs and sergeants* will be remembered.
The graduation parade was a fun one especially when everybody is throwing their cap *which practically marks the end of the parade* hahaha...even our ex-sir & ex-platoon sergeant came and not forgetting 1 of our platoon mate who unfortunately was injured and could not join us for our 24km route march and parade. It was truely a touching moment and many ppl of other company cried like hell even before the throwing of cap.
All the ppl I've know in BMT and all the fun, exciting and tekan sessions. I will always remember them. Like me, many ppl are afraid of enlistment. But every sir and sergeant will tell us we will have the most fun in BMT and I always wonder why. Now I know. It's not the tough times and the tekan sessions that will be carved deep in ur heart. It's the ppl and the joy that these ppl bring that make BMT fun & a memorable one. Sure enough all those tough times will nvr be forgotten but not because it's tough. It's because of the ppl who gone through it with you and also how we can still smile or even laugh during those sessions.

It's been way long since I last update my blog and now I doubt tt anyone will come and visit to see if there's any update from me hahaha...but still I'm gonna post smth here lol...
Yesterday mark the end of my grueling 4 days Field Camp + 2 days SIT test!!! hahaha...ok la not so grueling actually lol...field camp's not as difficult and tiring as I thought it will be still tiring but just not as much...SIT test was the most fun of all hahaha...if u ask me if I would do SIT test again with the same grp of ppl my ans will be YES! hahaha...fun & nice ppl to be with =)
Field camp was definitely a good experience and a memorable one haha....

Went georg's house yesterday to have steamboat together with ber, hm, henry, jc, robin, boon & xy...as usual it's always fun to hang out with them & had lots of laughter haha been so long since I've laugh this hard haha...missing the times b4 I was enlisted hahaha...
played a bit of mahjong *no money of course* been very long since I played mahjong haha...quite fun to play it once in a while especially after like few months or almost 1 year hahaha...
hope there's more gathering of this kind to come haha oh and Thanks georg for letting us go her house for steamboat & thanks for the Ben & Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake Ice-cream hahaha...& also thanks to georg and her mum to help us buy all the food hahaha

I'm like a zombie now...do whatever instructions they give and just follow blindly...nobody dare question the purpose behind the things we do for we all know the only reply we'll get is "Ask you do just do la ask so much for what?!" I'm getting dumber and dumber as the days past...I long to leave that place and hope that things will be better in the future haha...
Ppl talking behind other ppl's back, arrogant ppl, "talk only no action" ppl etc. but then again, all these kind of ppl can be found everywhere guess I'm just getting to know some before i step into society haha...
Not that I dun enjoy my time there it's just that I totally hate to be a mindless zombie...the human brain is there for a reason, for us to think, to question, to come up with solutions etc. so what use is there if we have a brain but we're not using it or not given a chance to use it?
And it's always abt honor there. But to me honor doesn't worth a thing. Think abt it, we build statues and what not in memory of great ppl with honor. But what if everybody is honorable? is everybody going to get their own statue? when everybody is honorable, are we still considered honorable? or will ppl expect even more frm us? and does tt mean the rest of us who did not reach the new expectations are un-honorable? Ok this may be confusing so let me just ask 1 very simple question. By who's definition of honor are we going to use as the standard? Mine? Yours? Again this simple question can be asked to those who say the other is not putting in effort.
1 more thing other than honor is giving ur 100%. How can 1 determine if the other has put in 100% of ones' effort or not?
There are no answers to these questions. The purpose of these questions are to make ppl think and hopefully realise that what they're doing and their thinking is not the standard nor is it the definition that other ppl have to follow. But I guess not many is going to figure this out...I think I'm just wasting my time...Oh well just writing out my thoughts...Hope at least there's someone who can understand...

Went to Lot 1 to watch Real Steel with sis yesterday...the movie is AWESOME!!!! hahaha super nice movie...I like the story line and of course the acting of Hugh Jackman and Dakota Goyo (the little kid)...funny at times and action packed most of the time...touching near the end of the show...this movie easily scored a 4.5 stars or more from me hahaha...it's a movie worth watching even on a weekend...hahaha
